Position Description
Seeking a Training Specialist to support Information Technologies (IT) initiatives in healthcare and federal grants arena. The initiatives include Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to enable organizations to operate and maintain enterprise systems in response to various legislative, policy, management, and technology changes. The outcomes enable the organization to strengthen its program management and operations in support of its mission to improve and achieve health equity.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The training specialist provides support to developing trainings courses for HRSA EHBs systems and sub-systems. Specific responsibilities include.

• Conducts the research necessary to develop and revise training courses.
• Prepares appropriate training catalogs, both written and online. Develops all instructor materials (e.g., course outline, background material, and training aids).
• Develops all student materials (e.g., course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
• Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, seminars, and/or computer based/computer-aided training.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
Clearly identify the essential qualification vs the desired qualifications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must demonstrate experience with federal grants lifecycle and business processes reengineering.
• Must be familiar with agile development and business processes re-engineering

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
List items desired for the Candidate, but not required.
Demonstrated, hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
• Microsoft products such as Word, Power Point , Excel
• Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe illustrator
• SharePoint , Confluence Wiki, JIRA

Knowledge of:
• Instructional Design
• Video production
• Blended LEarning
• Section 508 Compliance standards
• Information Security Policies, Network Security, Process Improvement, Project Management, Contingency Testing, and Vulnerability Testing
6 years of experience.
