As a Technical Document author you will be working on creating and updating documentation for an infrastructure hosting solution.

Our roles are only available if you hold or fulfil the criteria to obtain a UK Security Clearance.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Working to a list of document priorities will create / update documents with assistance of technical support team, Mange then through review and approvals.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• A strong technical background of creating technical documents within IT environment.
• A history of working within an ITIL – service based environment
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Able to work as part of a team

Recent experience or knowledge of working with some of the following technologies is desirable but not essential:

• Active Directory components (Domain Services);
• Domain Name Services;
• Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol Services;
• User Experience Virtualisation (UE-V);
• Application Virtualisation (App-V) local components;
• Licensing (Active Directory Based Authentication);
• Windows 10 Client OS and Virtual Desktops;
• File & Print Services Management (including DFS-R and DFS-N);
• System Center Virtual Machine Manager;
• System Center Configuration Manager Current Branch;
• System Center Data Protection Manager;
• System Center Operations Manager;
• System Center Service Manager 2016
• Hyper V and Windows Failover Clustering;
• Windows 10;
• Windows Server 2012 R2; Windows Server 2016
• ESXi 5.1
• WSUS and Patching.
• Windows Server 2016
• Share Point
• Dell Blade Systems
• ARC SIGHT
• KEMP load Balancers
• Anti Virus software
• Experience of working in a secure client environment
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Able to work as part of a team

Our projects are based in a CGI office or client site but may require travel to other locations.

The successful candidate must be able to spend time working away from home, if required.
