Position Description

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Participate in the full software development life cycle from scoping, analysis, design, implementation, and quality assurance to delivery and support

• Lead on-site and remote team members in custom software development projects, assigning tasks, meeting with clients, and working with the Project Manager to ensure quality and on-time delivery

• Mentor new and junior team members

• Collaborate with team members to find better, more efficient ways of doing things

• Solve challenging business and technical problems to meet client needs

• Design and implement multi-tier software using the latest technologies

• Apply DevOps practices to help our clients mature their software delivery capabilities

• Be part of a fast-paced team providing leading IT solutions to local enterprise clients

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Management or Computer Information Systems (MIS or CIS) or directly related degree required

• Minimum 2 years of experience developing full lifecycle enterprise solutions using a variety of programming languages such as .NET, Java, Python, Ruby, etc.

• Experience working in a variety of front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, VueJS, React, etc.

• Experience working with a variety of data sources both relational and otherwise

• Experience with building end-to-end web applications and/or web services (REST and/or SOAP)

• Experience in building software for deployment on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure

• Familiar with the DevOps model and with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, and Azure DevOps

• Familiar with with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and related tools such as Docker and Terraform

• Experience working in an Agile delivery model is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and relentless attention to detail

• Ability to recognize business needs, analyze requests, recommend solid technical solutions, and do hands on development / delivery of the solution

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts
