Position Description
A Service Architect is required to design the service processes and procedures for a major compute, storage and network IaaS Implementation for the MoD (ISS).

This role is only available if you hold a HLC UK Security Clearance.

Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, the Service Architect will be responsible for the overall design of the new Services and Service Catalogue which will be delivered to the Authority and Authority Third Parties. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the capabilities that a Windows, VMWare, Dell storage and networking solution can deliver to the end user.

This individual will work with the CGI SDM, Business Change/Collaboration Manager and the Program Director in the creation of the services which will be utilised by the client. They will be working initially in an established location, and then migrating to a new nearby location thereafter. They are expected to travel and work at other client locations for short periods.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Essential:

o Proven experience as a Service Architect within an IaaS environment

o Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship management experience

o Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to lead technical teams

o Ability to undertake and evaluate Customer Service Improvement (CSI)

o ITIL

Desirable:

o Experience of SAFe Agile delivery

o Familiarity with secure systems
