Position Description
Are you an experienced Serious Game Developer and looking for an opportunity to work on groundbreaking games to solve problems many companies are coping with?
Do you have experience with Unity3D and are also well versed in Front-end web technologies?

Your day-to-day activities
For the further development and improvement of a current web based Serious Game we are looking for a Web & Unity3D developer. Do you also want to see the power of games to be used for good? Then join our team in creating a one of a kind serious game targeted at agile Dev/Ops teams. We are currently in the final stages of alpha development, and we want to move to a full fledge Serious Game that will be deployed at many existing clients of our company. We are looking for a Unity and Angular Developer that is ready to help us shape the future of this and many other games.

You will be working closely with a tight-knit multidisciplinary team (art, design, UX/UI, game dev, backend, front end dev) in building this one of a kind Serious Game for many big clients in the Netherlands and abroad.

Activities:
- Help design core game architecture
- Create and maintain front end (admin panels, application structure)
- Build juicy leaderboards/profile pages
- Implement (gameplay) features
- Advice and help set-up back-end architecture
- Stress testing and scaling of system

Things you need to be successful
• You are not afraid to speak your mind and help guide the project to a sustainable phase where in the near future this will become an integral part of business operations both abroad and locally.
• You have demonstrable experience with unity3D (C#), preferably with (personal) projects to show us your skills.
• You have demonstrable experience with web/angular/react, preferably with (personal) projects to show us your skills.
• You like to think outside the box and like the challenge in seeking elegant solutions to solve problems.
• You like to work in a team that have a healthy dose of humor.
• You like to work for a multinational that has many ties with big business locally and abroad.
• You love games and see the potential in using them for serious purposes.
• You have experience with and believe in the Agile way of working, and are able to plot this within a game development cycle.
• Experience standard web security practices
• Experience with BDD & TDD
• Experience with code scanning tools & subversion control workflows
• Experience with Docker / Jenkins and other CI/CD Tools
