Position Description

CGI is looking for a 8+ years experienced, skilled and energetic automation testing resource to join our team in Windsor, CT. As a member of our automation testing, you will be an active participant in the full development lifecycle; designing, implementing and maintaining solutions for the Mobile application.

Success in this role requires you to be a self-starter who initiates actions and follows up to get results; you must be conscientious with consistent attention to detail and quality and have a passion for being the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Develop and/or maintain test scripts that provide for adherence to business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and properly account for a quality product delivery; ensuring the identification of existing or potential issues.

• Ensure that test plan and correlated test scripts provide for adherence to business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and properly account for the identification of existing or potential issues.

• Collaborate with delivery team (software/systems development personnel) in the validation of requirements; development of unit test cases; and execution of test scripts. Make recommendations for improvement of process and/or applications to ensure team’s ability to deliver quality project outcomes, on time and within budget.

• Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.

• Coordinating work with onsite and offshore teams.

• Manage strong business relationships and IT peer partnerships.

• Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices.

• Verify and revise quality assurance standards as needed.

• Develop automation test scripts using selenium, Appium tools.

• Create service virtualizations using CA Lisa tool.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Experience in automation using selenium tool and Appium tool is must.

• Thorough knowledge of object oriented programming concepts using Java (Core java).

• Experience of working on automation frameworks using Maven.

• Strong hands-on experience using CA LISA tool for service Virtualization Process is PREFERRED.

• Set up configuration, administration, build and deployment best practices within the LISA development and server environments.

• Create scripts and test cases for testing of services using SOAP UI or equivalent tool set.

• Understanding of Synchronous and asynchronous transaction and integration with the other systems.

• Experience virtualizing protocols like REST, SOAP, MQ, JDBC and Java objects and Good handle on XML, XPath, XSD, XSLT.

• Experience in testing web and mobile applications on multiple platforms like iOS, Android, Linux, Windows.

• Design and develop automation framework and scripting using Java, JavaScripting, etc. to support test automation activities for web and mobile applications. Responsible for creation, execution and implementing automated regression and functional scripting.

• Quality - strong attention to detail and understanding of various testing methods including the growing agile methodology.

• Responsible for testing, resolving and documenting automation failures resulting from negative testing, defect retesting and usability.

• Project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.

• Knowledge of the HealthCare industry and Mobile technologies is preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

• Extensive Testing background with at least 5 years of test management.

• Knowledge of Agile tools and process.
