Quality Engineer

Position Description
The successful candidates will be responsible for performing a variety of quality control tests on proprietary products, as well as 3rd party software that integrates with the overall Medicare Appeals system at various stages of the production process.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Create and maintain detailed functional, regression test scripts for highly customized instance of Entellitrak Medicare Appeals system
• Identify tools and strategies to support testing of modern UI/UX technologies
• Document, plan and conduct test data setup required for testing execution
• Identify, document and track software defects encountered during testing
• Perform Section 508 Web accessibility testing of Entellitrak platform features
• Design, execute and analyze automated regression test scripts
• Design and execute test scripts to perform white box, backend and APIs testing
• Perform verification/validation tests prior to release and ensure a timely delivery of a high quality release

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Certified Entellitrak Quality Engineer (SW Test Engineer)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
• 3 to 5+ years of experience with testing multi-platform, multi-user web based and mobile applications
• Hands on experience with Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 standards, JAWS screen reader
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Jira defects tracking tool and Test cases management tools
• Experience with the Agile – Scrum, Kanban or Lean development processes
• Security, Performance and scalability testing experience
• Familiarity with Java, JavaScript programming and/or scripting background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with Medicare or Healthcare Appeals/Claims systems
• Familiarity with Cucumber, Selenium IDE, Qtest and WebDriver open source frameworks
• Familiarity with Jenkins or other build management tools, VMware or Docker infrastructure
• Experience with JMeter or any other performance testing tools, SoapUI or Postman APIs testing tool
