Position description:

Are you familiar with machine learning concepts and algorithms? Does the list of skills include Python and are you familiar with OpenCV?

If you answered yes, you might be the next member of our amazing team. We are among others. We won the Grand One competition for the best data use, and we get to do a lot of different crazes in machine vision, machine learning and a variety of algorithmic solutions.

We expect you to have at least some previous experience with the technologies below, and if you haven't experienced much yet, at least you're very willing to learn more about them. As a person, we wanted you to be a willing and fast learner because we are dealing with things that are always facing new challenges. You work as part of an agile team with a bunch of amazing colleagues around you.

Your future responsibilities:

As a developer, your daily routine working in our team will be:
• Dealing with tasks in several projects regarding the following: work-shift optimization, computer vision cases, supply chain quality assurance, public traffic calculation with computer vision, customer insights with Video Analytics and many more
• Participating in daily stand-up’s with your team
• Brainstorming to create innovation for our clients
• Exchanging knowledge and expanding technical growth within your team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Essential qualifications:

• Strong Python skills
• At least basic knowledge of programmatic image manipulations and analysis in Python (OpenCV)
• Good understanding of Unix-like systems, especially Linux
• Basic working knowledge of standard software engineering tools (e.g. git, unit-testing frameworks, collaboration tools):
• At least basic understanding of Document oriented databases, relational databases and key-value stores (what to use and when)
• Good command of English language

Qualifications that are appreciated, but not required:

• Elastic stack skills (especially X-Pack and other enterprise features)
• CI/CD (Jenkins) skills not required but appreciated
• PLC programming experience
• Golang skills
• Docker skills (especially advanced cluster setups like Kubernetes)
• Classical DSP" skills
• Electronics design and building/assembly skills
• 3D industrial design (Fusion360) skills
• Command of Finnish language is a huge plus
