Your future duties and responsibilities
The Programmer Analyst is part of the on-site Honolulu team that will provide technical software maintenance support for the Advantage ERP site.

• Conducting technical analysis and troubleshooting for Advantage application software issues reported by clients

• Developing SQL for data fixes & establishing immediate workarounds for urgent client reported issues

• Providing defect resolution for Advantage application software issues

• Interact daily with other members/managers on the team also responsible for supporting our clients and delivering application and operations support

• Perform at “meets" or “exceeds" levels for all assignments due to an SLA-bound delivery model

• Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism with client stakeholders, internal CGI stakeholders, and local/global delivery teams to establish solid working relationships with these groups

• Exhibit confidence/maturity in interactions with clients and senior members of these organizations.

• Demonstrate ability to organize and priority workload in order to facilitate compliance with reporting time-to-task through an issue management tool and documented support process and procedures

• Work within a small Agile-like group, interacting daily with other members/managers on the team also responsible for supporting our clients and delivering application, operations and project support

• Communication and coordination among internal and external organizations to facilitate Advantage application troubleshooting, workaround definition and defect resolution

• Effectively and efficiently supports clients, inclusive of independent work on assignments from initial concept through delivery with support from a senior mentor

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• High degree of responsiveness and ability to work collaboratively with other team members in supporting multiple clients.

• Demonstrated abilities in software debugging to ensure rapid solution turnaround for urgent client issues.

• Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.

• Ability to work in non-conventional environment with virtual team spanning time zones across the country and in India.

• Excellent organizational skill and strong initiative to help solve problems and eliminate roadblocks as well as embraces change and can adapt easily to changing priorities.

• General experience with Application Operational and Maintenance processes.

• Technical and analytical skills necessary to fully evaluate the scope of assignments beyond the immediate “ask".

• Excellent listening, verbal, and particularly written communication skills in person and on the telephone.

• Focused attention to detail necessary to produce quality deliverables and maintenance support.

• High degree of proactive responsiveness and ability to work collaboratively with other team members in supporting multiple clients.

• Rapport building, negotiation, consensus-building and clear expectation setting and communications for clients, as well as for and among teams and members.

• Ability to maintain a high level of availability and connectivity to management and other team members to keep abreast of and respond to customer or supported project team requirements.

• Ideal candidate will be self-motivated and self-directed with the desire and work ethic to thrive and excel in this non-traditional work environment.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Must be able to effectively manage multiple initiatives and clients.

• Good tracking and prioritization skills.

• Team-oriented focus, knowledge-sharing, professional in all situations (including high stress).

• Ability to work in non-conventional environment with virtual team spanning time zones across the country and in India.

• Ability to be able to multi-task – ability to handle more than one task at a time, and ability to be able to react/ redirect with priorities as needed.

• General Experience managing Red Hat Linux OS

• General experience with Pervasive Data Integrator (ETL tool)

• General experience with Business Objects
