PHP Developer

Position Description
CGI is looking for a mid-level developer proficient in PHP, Javascript, and JQuery to join our development team. The candidate selected for this position will have the opportunity to support public-facing web sites, helping to educate the public on regulations and issues. The selected candidate will also build applications to collect data reported by industry to comply with regulations, directly impacting large federal agency’s mission.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Writing and reviewing source code using Agile development practices
- Participation in testing efforts
- Troubleshooting technical issues

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
-A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software development and IT consulting. Will consider candidates with a Master’s Degree in lieu of 1 yr. of required experience.
- Proficiency in PHP, JQuery, Javascript
- Experience with Java, Bootstrap, Oracle development languages
- Experience developing and consuming REST web services
- Consulting experience
- Strong Javascript skills and front end UI/mockup experience
- Knowledge of the full software life cycle
- Knowledge and experience with Agile development methodology

- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance required
