Passport Bookprint Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift - Tucson Passport Center (TPC)

Position Description
The Tucson Passport Center is looking for a Passport Bookprint Production Supervisor to plan, direct, and coordinate the daily activities of the book print/card print, quality control, and mailroom.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Responsible for coordinating all production related support activities for the Book Print Facility.
•Ensures the flow of operations between all contractor-staffed positions.
•Provides daily feedback on workflow and production projections to the Management Team
•Assists in providing studies and evaluations for Department of State
•Demonstrates excellent communications skills with all levels of management/contractors/client
•Implements Corporate Quality Control policies to effectively direct contract support activities
•Ensures satisfactory conformance with contract provisions and performance metrics
•Assigns, schedules, and reviews work of production staff
•Interprets policies, purposes, and goals of the organization for subordinates
•Supports the development and maintenance of succinct reporting methodology to ensure the client is informed of contractual performance
•Aids in coordinating activities with all other sections of the facility to obtain information to facilitate administration

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
•Ability to prepare management, business, technical, and personnel reports, reviews and documents for internal and external use
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•At a minimum, intermediate functionality in MS Office applications, including MS Excel and MS Word
•Must be available to work mandatory overtime to meet client demands.
•This is a second shift role. Hours to be discussed in interview.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Agency Moderate Risk Public Trust approval
•Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds without assistance, stand for long periods of time, visually verify information and hear without assistance
Bachelor degree with Minimum 3 years directly supervising teams in quota based environments or may substitute the degree with at least 5 years of direct supervision of at least 5 person teams in a production environment (environment (i.e. experience with an industry that is quota based using an expected input for a tangible outputs
