We are looking for an exceptional Oracle DBA to join our team.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Extensive experience in database design, analysis, modeling, development, administration, implementation, trouble shooting, release management and quality management

• Partner with various business and technology leaders on data related initiatives to support the data management needs of the enterprise

• Development of data components, monitoring of the environment (through OEM and other tools), database capacity planning and overseeing performance testing and tuning of the data components (in Linux/Unix platform).

• Define and implement a roadmap to drive data quality and data management maturity by deploying enterprise-wide data quality services and methodologies

• Deeply involved in requirements definition, design, development, deployment, maintenance and enhancement of applications working as part of Application Development team, with specific focus on databases.

• Ensure alignment of solutions with enterprise architecture principles and guidelines for initiatives like transitions monolith to micro services architectures.

• Promote data modeling standardization, defines and drives adoption of the standards and data governance practices..

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 6+ years of experience in the database administration with 5+ years towards delivering Data Management initiatives with data design & performance optimization for large applications

• Proficiency in Oracle (DBA/Developer background) with knowledge in concepts like high availability (RAC), data replication technologies such as Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Golden Gate.

• Experience with transition to new database technologies like Mongodb, Redis, Cassandra, Big data and graph databases (Neo4J).

• Proven track record of successful initiatives to standardize information, improve data accessibility and quality, and deliver business value through effective data management

• Must have experience with tasks such as data migration, data replication, user administration, backup and recovery, and understanding of general DBA tasks.

• Expert understanding in the design, creation, management, and business use of large datasets with strong understanding of statistical methodologies and techniques utilized for analyzing large datasets.

• Expert knowledge of query languages (SQL/PLSQL) coding and execution with scripting shell or python programming

• Exposure to advanced analytics concepts such as predictive models and / or machine learning

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of ETL concepts and processes

• Experience in Agile / SCRUM (with sprints) methodologies.
