Operational Technology Cyber Professional

Position Description
CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for an Operational Technology Cyber Professional. You will enhance the cyber security posture of seven (7) civilian government agencies through improved implementation and enhancement of network monitoring and control tools and processes. You will actively identify and mitigate a wide range of cyber risks and will also work closely with a variety of agency stakeholders, supporting their mission, priorities, organization and unique challenges. This opportunity will support a dynamic, fast-paced and energetic project focused on improving federal cybersecurity at the seven target agencies over the next six (6) years.

The ideal candidate for this position is a problem solver and a seasoned information security professional with practical experience and an understanding of operational based technologies. The ideal candidate also has strong writing and communication skills and is able to build relationships with both their team members and clients. The successful candidate is a self-starter who works effectively in a highly dynamic environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Seasoned information security professional with experience in multiple security disciplines. Some areas may include compliance, policy, forensics, penetration testing, investigations, risk management and privacy
- Understanding of multiple operating systems, network products, end user desktops and coding; practical experience is a plus.
- Understanding of operational based technologies (PLCs, SCADA, DCS); practical experience is a plus.
- Critical infrastructure experience is a plus.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
- Knowledge of SDLC.
- Functional analysis and strong writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment under tight timelines.
- Ability to multi-task and support multiple projects at once.

Desired:
- Experience with NIST Controls, NERC-CIP Knowledge or Tenable Industrial Security.
- Experience in on projects similar to the size, scope and complexity of the work and environment for OT security.
- Understanding of federal cybersecurity guidance such as NIST SP 800-37 - Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to Federal Information Systems: a Security Life Cycle Approach and NIST 800-137 - Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) for Federal Information Systems and Organizations. Understanding of the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program (CDM).
