Position Description
CGI is looking for talented, Microservices Developers with 6+ years of experience to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Perform design tasks and develop components of application and technical architecture
• Develop test cases and data, Execute tests for the application or technical architecture components
• Work with other programmers, designers, and architects to meet application requirements and performance goals
• Participate in code reviews
• Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project
• Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing, document the application to facilitate maintenance.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 6+ years of IT experience
• Experience developing and managing RESTful API applications using microservices
• Core Java Experience
• Experience with Java technologies and frameworks mainly Spring and Spring boot
• Demonstrated design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL in UNIX and Windows environments.
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Good knowledge of relation database, specifically Oracle (SQL - PL/SQL)
• Experience in the banking domain highly desired
• Strong communication skills

Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related IT field or equivalent combination of experience and education
