Marketing Coordinator

Position Description
CGI is looking for an autonomous and driven Marketing Coordinator to join the Australian team and be responsible for capturing and sharing the great work we’re doing with audiences inside and outside CGI.

The role will be fast-paced and varied and you will be challenged with multiple projects on any given day. You will cover a wide variety of activities, such as content development, digital and social media, events and internal engagement, with the ultimate goal of building brand awareness, driving pipeline and delivering business growth.

The role would suit a Marketing professional with 2-3 years of corporate experience looking for a varied and highly autonomous role that will allow the successful candidate to be challenged every day and to grow and develop skills

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Manage marketing campaign activities for Australia; developing content and deploying multiple tactics such as events, digital, social media, sales support activities, client-based marketing, deal based marketing, talent branding and internal engagement
• Support our Leadership team with activities such as VIP meeting preparation, industry functions and events
• Work with the Talent Acquisition Lead to develop and promote CGI as a great talent brand
• Partner with our Global Marketing teams to inform, utilise and collaborate on best practice and shared activities
• Work with the internal design team to develop and maintain industry marketing assets such as brochures, factsheets, and case studies/references
• Measure and report on the success of marketing and communications activities in Australia to senior stakeholders
• Some travel within Australia may be required

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 2+ years of marketing experience working in a corporate environment; designing, managing and delivering marketing and communications projects
• Demonstrated success writing and implementing content for a diverse range of marketing campaigns. Excellent copywriting skills
• Experience in designing and running high profile events
• A creative and strategic thinker with an innovative mind and a “can do” attitude. Able to roll up sleeves and deliver results
• Capable of managing multiple initiatives across a complex business. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.
• A strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
• The ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organisation and manage multiple stakeholders
• A proactive, self-starter, with a track record of delivering projects on time - able to work to tight deadlines and manage a varied work portfolio
• Likes to work inclusively, team orientated and willing to support others to achieve their goals in line with CGI’s values
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing is also required.
