Position Description
Experienced professional with well developed, proficient knowledge and skills in Applications Development. Operational in focus, may instruct or coach other professionals. Develops applications solutions from established programming languages and source code. Recommends improvement to existing applications using engineering releases and utilities.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• CGI is looking for a talented, and experienced member for Machine learning
The ideal candidate has about 6 years of Machine learning / Analysts , should have very strong background and theoretical foundation in machine learning and advanced statistics
• Proficiency in performing Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
• Strong knowledge on various classification algorithm like Logistic Regression, Decision trees, Naïve Bayes, kNN etc.
• Strong Knowledge of existing ML libraries and frameworks
• Knowledge of deep learning, neural networks, clustering and NLP
• Strong knowledge on ensemble learning techniques like Bagging, boosting, Random forest, Gradient Boosting, Adaboost, etc.
• Hands on experience in Time Series Analysis and forecasting
• Knowledge of LSTM is added advantage, Experience in Model evaluation techniques like confusion matrix, Lift and gain charts, AUC and cost-benefit analysis
• Hands on experience with Open source tools like R and Python and ability to write robust code in Python and R
• Proficiency in data wrangling/transformation, regularization and preprocessing techniques
• Expertise in dealing with Structured (SQL Server/Oracle/ Teradata etc) and unstructured data in Hadoop / cloud environments
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
• Experience with PLSQL, and NoSQL
• Experience in end-to-end implementation on Analytics project
