LIMS Governance Change Agent/ Business Owner

Position Description
Client’s Labs will be continuing to implement Global Laboratory Information Management System (GLIMS) Labware. In order to prepare for this implementation adequately, Lab Operation Analysts will be deployed to work with the Site GLIMS implementation team and the Client Site Labs.

Post Go Live governance for change is an imperative to further the goals of the project. Apply business processes and improvements to the way GLIMS is configured, justify different configurations, or justify and document business cases for enhancements. The aligning and site agreement on these goals helps ensure the business gets targeted and significant value. This person is expected to understand the LIMS system bothe technically and business useage for the data setup, system itself, and what the system can potentially do.

FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

• Create Governance structure for Site

• Create Business Case template and criteria which is to be used for documented and prioritizing site’s needs

• Build alignment across site maintaining alignment with global LIMS and other sites as needed

• Further the GLIMS Site Implementation Project goals post go live including, Technology Enabled Labs, Paperless Labs, and Efficient Labs all End to End.

• Advocate and explain GLIMS implementation and configuration choices to improve GLIMS usability.

• Create and document a sustainable process for site.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• Expertise in QC testing, laboratory process, and experience within a pharmaceutical GMP compliant analytical lab

• Labware LIMS Master Data usage, development, and changes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Confident and positive attitude, able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and navigate company culture

• Strong organizational skills, able to make good decisions in a collaborative manner

• Strong LIMS skills for set up and usage

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science, or Communications) OR equivalent work experience

• GxP Manufacturing Experience and/or GxP Quality Control / Quality Assurance Experience

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

• Highly organized

• Ability to analyze, articulate and solve problems

• Ability to learn quickly, move with agility between assignments, multi-task, and to work effectively in a team environment, both face-to-face and remotely

• Ability to support internal and external projects from inception to successful implementation

• Familiarity with software development process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing customer expectations

• Skill in conceptualizing creative solutions, as well as documenting them and presenting/selling them to senior management

• Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence

• Strong customer focus and ability to manage Client expectations
