Life Science IT Technical Analyst (Data / Content Mgt)

Position Description
CGI is looking for a client-facing critical thinker who has extensive experience managing and executing ETL and data cleansing projects with a thorough understanding of relational databses and excel. Proficient at presenting in front of the client and excellent communication skills. Attention to detail and good documentation practices and skills. Analytical and rational approach to problems, ability to be open minded and creative in terms of developing a new solution or improve on an existing solution. Able to understand “business speak” and turn it into “IT speak”, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation of those requirements.

In addition the successful candidate will assist the account team(s) at multiple client locations to help bolster the pursuit of Regulatory and related business.

FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will be a critical team member and will be responsible for providing direction, hands on / individual contributions and expertise to the team in specific capacities within the project.

In this role, the successful candidate will interface with the onshore and offshore team on a daily basis, providing guidance and assistance as needed. In addition they will participate directly with the client on global project calls helping the in scope countries prepare for their work (explain and share info), review along the way and help prepare the final deliverables.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

8+ years experience working in Life Sciences industry

• 7+ years relevant experience performing analysis and critical thinking for EDMS and/or ETL projects

• 7+ years working with Excel with demonstrated experience filtering, analyzing data to make recommendations on actions, and applying macros, functions, and pivot tables

• 5+ years experience with SDLC activities working in a regulated environment

• 5+ years experience working on data migration projects

• 5+ years experience performing data analysis

• 5+ years experience as technical lead on projects

• 4+ years relevant experience in Veeva, Amplexor, Documentum, FirstDocs, etc.

• 5+ years implementing and working with Pharmaceutical Regulatory systems

• 3+ years business process analysis, swim lanes, data flows

• Understanding of the regulatory landscape in regards to submissions such as eCTD, non-eCTD and NeeS

• Understanding of the regulatory landscape in regards to US and EU submission processes

• Programming background with the ability to document/outline logical data processes.

• Proven experience working with a cross-functional US / India Team on projects

• Strong focus on quality; high attention to detail demonstrated through proofing, follow through and scheduling

• Thrives in a dynamic work environment balancing priorities for efficient workflow, particularly under tight deadlines

• Ability to work and lead in a team-oriented setting, to prioritize work, and to follow through on assignments with minimal direction as well as back-up colleagues as needed

• Experience in 21 CFR Part 11 systems and relevant EDMS

• Self-motivated and striving for continuous self-improvement; actively engaging in self-directed learning related to professional development.

• Creative thinker with ability to seek innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems

• Ability to put together dashboards and trackers and manage assignment of activities to a team of resources.
