Position Description
• Member will be responsible for development of PowerBI related requirements.
• Must be able to do POC and do the feasibility check on the client requirements with respect to PowerApps implementation.
• Member must be able to suggest the best possible solution with respect to implementation of PowerBI for the given requirements.
• Must understand the do’s and don’ts with in the Client environment and strictly adhere to them.
• Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions
• Crafting and executing queries upon request for data
• Presenting information through reports and visualization
• Member will perform people management related activities including development of team members and provide support to team members in technical as well as communication challenges, guide them and mentor them wherever required.
• Should show good interest in learning, and be focused;
• Should take responsibility for themselves and their work and well organized.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Primary Skill:
• Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
• Industry experience is preferred
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
• Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Hands on experience writing custom Functions
• Strong Knowledge on Power BI to import data from various sources such as SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, SQL Server Analysis Services (Tabular Model), MS Excel etc.,
Secondary Skill:
• Developing Graduates and junior developers for next level.
• Candidate should have experience in providing support / guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development and testing processes.
• Experience in improving processes to ensure alignment between the business strategies and application technology roadmap.
• Experience in providing scope, approach, estimates, and deliverables to the users.
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
