Position Description

CGI is seeking a Jr .Net Developer to be a key part of a larger team. Working with the Senior Programmer and Project Manager, you will provide technical assistance as well as communications and presentations to the client concerning technical progress and results.

Your future duties and responsibilities
CGI currently supports the maintenance and enhancement of the MA Dept. of Unemployment application. The major functions of the unemployment application include:
· Processing Unemployment Claims and Appeals
· Calculates and Collects payments from employers to fund the Unemployment program.
· Supports the payments to Claimants
· Provides the ability to ensure Program integrity and Auditing
· Produces multiple reports and correspondence

The application provides services for thousands of users including claimants, employers and state employees.

The application is primarily written in ASP.Net with C#. The data tier is Oracle maintained in AWS. There is a significant batch component comprised of approximately 300 jobs.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
· The candidate should have 5-7 years of experience with C# / ASP.NET
· 5-7years of experience with SQL/relational databases.
· Demonstrated examples of continued experience growth in previous roles.
· Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills.
· Experience with multiple development methodologies.
· Software Deployment Experience.
· Experience with large applications particularly financial is a plus.
