Position Description
CGI is hiring a Junior Cybersecurity/Journeyman Specialist. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to join our team in Fairfax, VA. Your future duties and responsibilities
Provides subject matter expertise for computer security incidents, provides governance, monitors and enforces broad spectrum industry best practices, and is familiar with and follows NIST guidelines. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements the Information Security (IS) Plan and IS solutions, including penetration tests and vulnerability scans. Performs risk and gap analysis, and develops mitigation plans for all deficits.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in system(s) functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures
• Understanding of Windows and Linux based Operating Systems, networking (TCP/IP, Ports, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP), Switch/Router configuration, and general cybersecurity.

Certification Requirement(s): Security+ in accordance with CITR-0006
