Jr. Service Desk Technician

Position Description
CGI Federal is looking for talented Service Desk Technician to provide excellent desktop, laptop and network support for next generation multimedia management systems. Applicant will work with other talented and creative professionals to support computing systems that bring a plethora of multimedia information to every branch of America’s military personnel stationed around the world.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Troubleshoot user accounts and reset passwords for customers
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on a variety of computing devices
• Prepare systems for lifecycle replacement according to government standards
• Install baseline images to newly-acquired computing systems
• Installation of network cabling and modifications, as required.
• Enter and manage Service Desk tickets into the automated trouble ticketing system

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship and an Active Secret Clearance is required.
• 0 to 3 years of Service Desk experience
• Excellent phone and in-person customer service and support skills

Other Desired Skills:
• Active CompTIA Security+ or A+ Certification
