The System Analyst role for our MI MAGI Project will involve working closely with the Technical Architect to ensure the system functions properly with other integrated systems to ensure delivery of results to our client.
The system analyst will be part of a small, but important team that works well together and is highly respected and valued by our client.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software.
• Ensures that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Clearly identify the essential qualification vs the desired qualifications. What skills/experience must this person have to be considered?
• BS in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Java/J2EE development work
• Linux/Unix experience preferably in Redhat
• Core, Spring or Struts, Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, REST, CXF), Transaction management
• Any one of the following XML Technologies:
o X-Path, X-Query, XSLT using XML Spy
o Altova tools – Mapforce, Diffdog, etc.
• Experience in any scripting language such as Java Script, JQuery, Node JS, Angular JS, etc.
• Experience in MySQL or any SQL language
• Experience in software design, development, and testing of web-based software applications
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
