Your future duties and responsibilities
You will support our client in Puerto Rico by providing administrative system support for the virtual infrastructure configured for the CGI-DRS program. The Infrastructure team will be responsible for the design, configuration and maintenance of Windows Server 2016 virtual machines to include domain controllers, web servers, application servers, and database servers. A deep understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and Windows Firewall will be essential along with the ability to troubleshoot Microsoft technologies. You will be responsible for the management of the domain to include the management of the infrastructure, monitoring and reporting associated with the reliability and security of the domain, and account management. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining the internal mail server (SurgeMail), the SFTP server used for client and customer document storage (Cerberus), and the internal Helpdesk application server (ManageEngine ServiceDesk).

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting enterprise applications including Windows Server OS, Active Directory, IIS SQL & other
•In-depth technical knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
•Firm grasp of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSL, TLS
•Advanced troubleshooting skills
•Ability to work cooperatively within a small team setting in a fast growing atmosphere.
•Responsible for assisting with support of Windows servers, applications and networks.
•Provide front line support and technical issue resolution with the ability to escalate when appropriate.
•Identify and correct or advise on product issues.
•Maintaining and updating Windows Server environment.
•Create and maintain documentation of environment and application configuration.
•Performs a variety of assignments associated with monitoring and controlling computer operating systems.
•Perform ongoing monitoring and maintenance of servers
•Comply with and help to enforce standard operating policies and procedures.
•Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
