Infrastructure Engineer

Position Description
As an Infrastructure engineer, you should have 5+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of experience setting up new Infrastrucuture and performing system upgrades. You will interact with Lead Developers, System Analysts, Business Users, Architects, Test Analysts, Project Managers and peer developers to analyze system requirements, design and set up new infrastructures.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• You will be responsible for sound and high quality technical deliverables.
• Support all tasks in standing up new servers
• Analyze, quantify and estimate the amount of work for every sprint or release.
• Work in an Agile environment and adapt to the changing needs and requirements of the business.
• Code with least bugs and incorporating the best practices.
• You will complete complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities

General:
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Experience with Agile Methodology and Gitflow
• Team Oriented and can work independently.

Must Have Technical Skills:
5+years of IT Infrastructure experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
• Experience using Connect direct and MQ in conjunction with Windows server and MS SQL server.
• 1+ years in WebSphere and Linux
• 1+ years’ experience with NO SQL databases (Mongo DB and MYSQL)
• 1+ years’ experience with UDeploy (Urban Code Deploy)
• 3+ years of integration experience coordinating with enterprise teams on system upgrades.
• 3+ years of experience with infrastructure setup projects

Good to Have:

• Java with Spring and Spring Boot
• Designing and developing Java based applications
• Test Driven Development (JUnit / Spock)
• Micron API framework
• Docker / Kubernetes / OpenShift
• ATM technology
• Banking industry
• Mainframe/ZOS and CA7 Scheduling

Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related IT field or equivalent combination of experience and education
