IDAM Systems Engineer

Working with mainly windows environment with associated IDAM product NetIQ

On a day to day you will be working as part of a dynamic large team of in a busy operational environment.

As a System Engineer you will be working on a MS 2012 and 2016 server systems, with Windows 10 clients., in a fast paced environment, so as a team member you need to be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the customer.

You will need to be SC or DV cleared to be considered for this position.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Whilst working as part of a team supporting two Data Centres and other satellite locations, you would undertake the role of 3rd Line Technical Analyst in a MS Data Centre or as a general Windows Administrator.

• NetIQ product experience
• Five or more years IT experience
• Previously worked on an ITIL-based service
• Windows 2012 and 2016
• Ability to communicate at all levels

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Recent experience or knowledge of working with some of the following technologies:
• Active Directory components (Domain Services);
• Domain Name Services;
• Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol Services;
• User Experience Virtualisation (UE-V);
• Application Virtualisation (App-V) local components;
• Licensing (Active Directory Based Authentication);
• Windows 10 Client OS and Virtual Desktops;
• Hyper V and Windows Failover Clustering
• VMware (ESXi 5.1 and above)
• WSUS and Patching.

You will be able to demonstrate significant experience as an engineer where you have developed senior client relationships to deliver optimal business solutions.

Our projects are based in a CGI office or client site but may require travel to other locations.

The successful candidate must be able to spend time working away from home, if required.
