Position Description
Be part of something meaningful and become part of our story at CGI. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer, in London, to join our prestigious Central Government business working on programmes that positively improve UK citizens lives.

We are looking for a talented individual with a passion for the latest technological trends and open source technologies to join our Agile engineering team, and to help us build and deliver user centred services and solutions in partnership with our key UK Government clients.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Our full Stack developers undertake development activities in TDD, BDD and Scrum, or other Agile practices. You will be responsible for coding, building, testing and maintenance of software systems and applications for some of our key Government clients. Your work will have a direct positive impact on UK citizens’ lives by improving the interface with Government departments and the handling and management of data therein.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
This role requires you to have commercial experience in all of the following; JAVA8+, Spring and SpringBoot, Junit4&5, Angular2+, Typescript, ECMAScript6, Microservices, REST, Docker, Terraform, GitHub, and Jenkins. You will also need to be able to clearly communicate your ideas to both technical and non-technical colleagues and clients in an agile design environment. You’ll have a solid understanding of industry standards and best practice coupled with experience of modern source code management approaches. Experience of development using open source technologies is essential.

● Accessibility (ARIA)
● Scrum writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
