Financial Analyst

Position Description
This Financial Analyst will have hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in developing/configuration of regulatory returns. Candidate should have strong functional understanding of the regulatory requirements/reports and understanding of general ledgers, balance sheets and finance systems that will help in development of the Regulatory reports.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Work with internal clients (Finance and Data Management teams) to collect and analyze business requirements

• Document requirements, specifications and present them in simple, clear and concise manner

• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses

• Work with the development team to ensure that they understand the specifications and the delivery correspond to business expectations

• Work with users to define test scenarios and support testing to ensure the testing results meet requirement specifications

• Ensure that issues are identified, tracked, reported on and addressed in a timely manner

• Understand and apply production fundamentals and practices as a part of agile feature team

• Provide input and insight to team members in design, development, documentation, testing and valuable expertise in building systems.

• Assess, review and understanding strengths and weaknesses in current business processes and recommends options, risks and cost vs. benefits

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Good understanding of Risk & Regulation domain, Financial Reporting.

Candidate should be strong in requirements analysis, functional specifications analysis, coordination, and Gap & Impact analysis

Should have experience in preparation of functional & technical documents and Build & Test support for Regulatory reports
