Position Description
- CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Federal Financial Analyst.
- You will enhance the cyber security posture for civilian government agencies through improved utilization and visibility through a shared service.
- You will actively identify and mitigate a wide range of cyber risks and will also work closely with a wide variety of agencies, learning their mission, priorities, organization and unique challenges.
- This opportunity will support a dynamic, fast-paced and energetic project running 20+ concurrent implementations.

- Serve as the CGI CDM DEFEND Project Control and Financial Analyst within the PMO.
- Provides financial analytical support to DEFEND PMO and the supporting Agency Core Teams.
- Develop, interprets and implements detailed cost plus financial concepts for financial planning and management controls of a large Cost Plus Award Fee project.
- Supports the technical analysis of budgets and burn rates to determine present and future financial project performance.
- Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, including trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
- Provides input to project monthly status reports, creates financial reporting deliverables for CDM DEFEND tasks.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- The Financial Analyst is a key member of the PMO that is responsible for providing the overall financial picture of the CDM DEFEND project.
- Ensures compliance with program financial management and task financials and deliverables.
- Knowledge and experience in identifying financial management trends for risk management to provide insight for the Deputy Project Manager and Project Manager to financially manage the CDM DEFEND project from a both a technical delivery and profitability perspective for CGI and the government client.

The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Cost Plus Award Fee contract experience with a focus that includes:
- Providing financial consulting analysis of project cost and the development/implementation of financial management standards and procedures on Cost Plus Award Fee contracts.
- Provide financial analysis and consultative assessments.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience required.
- Experience in federal financial management and project control of Cost Plus Award Fee.
- Experience in providing financial cost reporting with advice to senior level leaders within the government and/or senior CGI leaders.
