Business Rules Engine / Workflow Developer

Position Description
CGI Business Rules / Workflow Developer will responsible for the effective delivery of Decisions.com based workflows and dynamic forms supported by the Decisions rules engine.
The new solution will be the center of an “Ecosystem” of multiple system integration points.

Fundamentally the system will be built with the following high level tools / technologies:

• Backend: .NET Core 2.0 / REST

• Workflow and Rules Engine: Decisions

• System Integrations: RabbitMQ, IBM ESB

• JIRA, Bitbucket, Web Services, ETL

Your future duties and responsibilities
The selected candidate will join a large housing inventory and case management program that integrates with over 12 enterprise applications.

CGI Sr Business Rules / Workflow Developer will be responsible for designing, technical documentation, development, testing workflows and business rules using the platform named Decisions. Decisions is a no code / low code business rules and workflow management tool.
Specific experience with Decisions is not required but familiarity with other no code / low code Business Rule and Workflow tools similar to Decisions is required.
Familiarity with REST and Web Services is also required.

Decisions training will be provided to the project team as part of this role.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Excellent technical experience, excellent communication skills, dedication to the successful delivery within tight timelines, and ability to work with an onshore remote delivery team by leveraging both traditional and Agile project management methodologies. Understanding of the technologies to be used.

Workflow Management and Business Rules experience required.
