Business Analyst

Position Description
Multiple Business Analysts are needed to support the day-to-day operations of the overseas Momentum-based financial system called RFMS in Charleston, SC. The Business Analysts will interact with RFMS users on a daily basis to analyze issues arising from operations and propose and test solutions to fix them. As part of a growing team, the Business Analysts will often be required to work independently on issues assigned to them. Federal accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and SQL experience, and usage of CGI's Momentum ERP system are highly desired. The business analysts will also be required to write detailed business memos to convey findings and recommended solutions to the client. The position is in Charleston, SC, and hours are typically 0800-1700 EST.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Work directly with the client on often complex software and data issues in the overseas accounting system, RFMS
- Develop total solutions to issues, to include, recommended cleanup steps for data issues and functional analysis of software issues, and working with developers or technical staff to devise a fix
- Support other team members in their analysis of issues
- Construct well written solution memos that are concise and accurate for delivery to the client
- Recommend ways that the software can be used to achieve better results

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles/Accounting Education Background
- Genuine interest in conducting deep analysis of software, data, and technical issues
- ERP experience
- Structured Query Language (SQL) skills
- Microsoft Excel for analysis tasks
