We are looking for talented Business Analysts to come and join CGI (a Top Employer in the UK) and become the vital link between our clients and our technical teams for one of our large scale programmes in the Energy, Utilities or Telecom industries. The successful candidate will support and ensure the successful completion of analysis, build, and testing phases of our programmes alongside other business and technical tasks.

You could be based either Manchester, Reading and Midlands.

Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for elicitation, definition, analysis, validation and modelling of business processes, requirements, systems and data, whilst assisting in the management of stakeholder relationships and objectives.

Using established techniques, you will work with members of the project and client teams to document business requirements, acceptance criteria and system data and functionality for clearly-defined areas within a large scale programme.

You will assist with the processes for establishing agreed baselines for change and for managing the assessment and application of requested changes to those baselines.

You may also contribute to the identification and selection of the appropriate solutions for delivering business requirements and meeting business needs, and help to obtain agreement with client stakeholders.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
In order to be successful in the role of Business Analyst, you will need to have demonstrable experience and understanding of business process and data modelling techniques, business operations, business analysis techniques and the writing of technical documentation and specification.

It is essential that you are organised with an eye for detail as well as being able to own and develop relationships with business and IT stakeholders. You should have a track record of improving processes, identifying gaps in requirements and functionality and proposing solutions and working well in teams.

Knowledge or experience within the Energy, Utilities and/or Telecom sectors would be beneficial but not essential.

The BCS Diploma in Business Analysis would be desirable but not essential.
