BI Data Analyst

Position Description
We are currently seeking a full time Business Intelligence Analyst who has knowledge of SAP Business Objects with Information Design Tools. Uses expertise in business intelligence and information management to define and design solutions in informational projects. Contributes to the vision, orientations and decisions to assure an optimal positioning in business intelligence. Provides guidance and support to the business in defining their needs for business intelligence and information management. Participates in the design of conceptual data modeling and logic. Documents solutions in business intelligence and information management. Promotes respect of norms and standards established by the business intelligence organization.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Develop and implement PL/SQL and Business Objects (BO) reports and dashboards.
• Test BO Universes, PL/SQL, Business Intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards.
• Work with Business/End Users to gather requirements PL/SQL and BI reports and dashboards.
• Create high and low-level data product designs based on the business and technology requirements.
• Configure and implement a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) product to a federal client.
• Work with development team to ensure BI reports are meeting clients needs.
• Provide additional support and guidance to clients during the implementation phase to include development of training resources.
• Present and set expectations with the client on scope of the implementation.
• Be an active participant in business development activities. (E.g., discuss challenges with client, identify potential solutions/opportunities and discuss with CGI management and client as needed, etc.)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
• 2+ years of workplace experience with previous implementation experience
• Strong Database experience in Oracle (Preferably) 12x versions, MS-SQL Server
• SQL experience (Views, Complex Queries, stored procedures, functions etc. )
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities/ Agile

Desired Qualifications:
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Developing and enhance existing Business Objects Universe
• Experience in Business Objects 4.X versions with Information Design Tool
• Creating complex WEBI reports for Financial Applications
• Experience in troubleshooting, debugging and fixing the WEBI Reports, Universe objects, Database Views
• Working in financial Applications experience is a Plus
