Job Purpose and Key Deliverables:

BAT’s Technical Trainee Programme is a dedicated programme designed to speed up the mastery of Technical Packaging & Development Management techniques and balance this with introductory Business Management skills within a large multinational FMCG company. This fast-track programme will swiftly propel high-performing young talents to key positions within the Asia Pacific Middle East Product Development Centre and you will also be able to groom your leadership capabilities as future leaders of the Company.

In this programme, you will be assigned to rotational placements over a structured period of 18 to 24 months, covering core functions such as Packaging Development, Product Development, Quality, Regulatory, Factory and New Product Introduction.

Key Accountabilities 

Develop, specify and deliver the end to end Packaging Development activities to the operating companies from conceptual requirement to printed packaging which meets approval of-  specification, in line with the end market’s cycle plan.

- Delivery of the assigned Packaging Development activities against the agreed plan

- Full adherence to the compliance requirements, BAT process and Guidelines

- Use of specification management system (TAO/SAP) and E-Graphics

- Projects are completed within budget, OTIF and within product cost target

Essential Requireme

Essential Requirements 

·  Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor / Masters degree (minimum 3.0 CGPA) in Science related fields such as Chemistry or Materials, or an Engineering degree in Product Design, Material Science , Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, Process/Industrial Engineering , Material Technologies etc.
·  Globally Mobile
·  Leadership capabilities and personal confidence
·  Demonstrated awareness of different cultures, and Motivation to perform in a challenging environment
·  Required language(s): Proficiency in English
·  Open for Fresh Graduates or those with 1 to 2 years of working experience.
