Cardif Pinnacle in Borehamwood is seeking a full-time Data Analyst to work within the Data Warehouse team.

The company is focused upon the provision of creditor, pet and motor warranty insurance. The strategy of the business is to ensure that customers are well serviced whilst focusing on the operational capabilities and efficiency.


Position Scope:

To specialise in the maintenance, development, production of Management Information (MI) within Cardif Pinnacle and Warranty Direct. This is a business focused role but with a strong technical element and the requirement to communicate on both business and technical issues at all levels throughout the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

· Responsibility for the development, maintenance and ongoing delivery of daily, weekly and monthly reporting activities.
· Working with the Sales team by owning the MI relationship with the relevant clients, engaging the Client and their representatives at all levels ensuring that all information sent to the Client and our Operational teams is meaningful, succinct, and demonstrates performance improvements in the service deliverables.
· Working with the Data Integration Analyst and Data Quality Analyst to provide the required updates to the Data Warehouse.
· Working with the Data Integration Analyst and Data Quality Analyst to solve business related queries around data.
· Managing, developing, enhancing and documenting working procedures and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
· Promoting excellent service delivery by continually meeting service standards.
· Working closely with IT to ensure the security and integrity of data is not compromised.
· Producing ad-hoc reports as required.
· Regularly reviewing existing reporting to business needs.
· Providing detailed analysis on performance against business plans and targets.
· Supplying examples of Management Information for tender documents.
· Highlighting any potential issues with PIPPA, CUPPA and Warranty 3 reports to be resolved by IT.
· To be able to communicate both verbally and in writing at all levels to understand the MI requirements of external clients and internal departments.
Other activities
· Ensuring that customers are treated fairly in all aspects of the role.
· Occasional travel to Reading Office

Pay/Hours/Benefits

Qualifications :

Required Skills and Work Experience

Essential

·  Experience in resolving complex data management issues
·  Technical skills to include exposure to a number of technologies, including,, MS Access (Intermediate level), Excel (advanced level with a working knowledge of Visual Basic) and other MS Office applications
·  Excellent Microsoft Power BI knowledge including DAX
·  Excellent Microsoft Power BI language (m)
·  Excellent Microsoft SQL Knowledge
·  Excellent knowledge of SSRS
·  Working knowledge SQL Server Management Studio
·  An understanding of the concepts of database design for both transactional and analytical databases
·  Meticulous attention to detail
·  Team player who can work proactively and on their own initiative
·  Ability to work to deadlines
·  Ability to prioritise own workload and effectively manage projects
·  The ability to communicate effectively

Desirable

·  Good understanding of Google Analytics
·  Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Visual Studio, SSIS, SSAS)

·  GCSE passes A-C or equivalent, including Maths and English

·  A Levels, or equivalent, in Maths and English
