Bel Leerdammer is part of Bel Group, which has turned the traditional product of cheese into an innovative concept. Situated in Schoonrewoerd, we produce and develop branded cheeses and cheese products of high quality under the Leerdammer brand, which wants to delight the consumer with devotion, knowledge and craftsmanship. We currently employ 385 people in three production facilities in Schoonrewoerd, Wageningen and Dalfsen.

Schoonrewoerd is also the driving force behind the Leerdammer brand: the centre where R&D, Marketing and Operations are working together in close cooperation with country teams and the central Bel Group divisions. Bel’s brands in the Netherlands are La Vache Qui Rit, Leerdammer, Port Salut and Mini Babybel.

For our Development Centre in Schoonrewoerd we are looking for a result oriented Jr. Packaging Technologist (M/F) – V.I.E. (International Working Program)- 12 months.

MISSIONS :

In the position of Junior Packaging Technologist you are in charge of several development Packaging projects. You will contribute with ideas, manage and/or execute challenging projects related to our innovation, renovation and Industrial Excellence portfolio. You will especially focus on to create new responsible and superior products (ex: sustainable packaging), developing new packs for the current and new markets or study and implement new process to reach the operational excellence in our factories. You will report to the Packaging Development Manager.

PROFILE :

BSc/MSc Degree in Food Science and/or Technology, preferably with a specialization in Packaging.
Previous experience / internship would be a distinct advantage.
Innovating thinking, willing to work in a dynamic environment.
Preferably cheese and process related know-how.
