Vendor Management Administrator (1903519) – Florham Park, NJ

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Wireless Vendor setup in the USA. As part of this, you will drive and steer the overall performance of the partners on an operational level and manage business requirements and expectations regarding wireless services in the office environment.

Based on day-to-day operations, you will optimize wireless cost based on usage profiles together with a managed service provider and contribute to global cost transparency.

Formula for Success

·  Leveraging your education (degree preferred), in addition to your wireless experience managing smartphone plans and devices for the US.
·  Your superior entrepreneurial skills will be essential for managing wireless contract life cycles including contribution to requests for proposals, change management and termination of wireless contracts. You will support the contract administration & financial supplier management processes aligned together with BASF procurement and BASF supplier relationship management.
·  Your solid customer focus will be evident as you design, improve and run service processes for end user requests on individual wireless contracts as well as Smartphones and other wireless devices.
·  Leveraging good communication skills and seniority towards the internal organization, you will represent the BASF partnership with wireless vendors and smartphone suppliers and the projects conducted by these partnerships against other BASF internal units (internal business partners, legal, finance, procurement).
·  Demonstrating knowledge and interest in wireless service / solution deployment, you will handle Incident-/Change-and Problem-Management on user and contract levels. In addition, you will continuously improve internal processes and manage task forces for the improvement of Smartphones and Wireless services on an operational level and handle escalations.
·  With your entrepreneurial thinking you will support wireless budgeting and forecasting processes and execute commercial administrative processes for wireless contracts and smartphones (ordering, goods receipt, month end closing).
·  As part of your responsibility, you will monitor and analyze wireless spend and consumption and accordingly advise BASF end users on proper handling of their individual wireless contract.
·  Using your analytical skills as well as your intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, you will create pivot tables, v look-ups, etc.
