Job description

The Engineering & Technical Expertise Division is responsible for the implementation of BASF's plant construction projects. We advise and support the various corporate divisions by providing expert services throughout the plant's life cycle, such as automation, process or mechanical engineering. We push forward innovations in all areas of the chemical industry - and turn laboratory developments into worldwide production plants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The TOP START program, which has an international focus, will provide you with targeted preparation for a future leadership role within BASF right from the start by giving you an opportunity to take on projects and tasks on your own responsibility.

·  Help us shape the companys future!
·  In this three-year program, you will get to know three to four different areas. An international assignment will also give you a chance to expend your intercultural experience.
·  You will gain valuable project experience, get to know different divisions and promote cross-unit dialogue with your colleagues right from the first day.
·  You will receive exclusive development offers and will be supported and supervised by an experienced manager as a mentor on your career path.
·  Following the program, an attractive position of responsibility awaits you in BASF Engineering & Maintenance unit.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Committed and open-minded leadership personality with a conscientious working style
·  Degree - diploma, masters degree, or doctorate - in an engineering field, on which you earned outstanding marks
·  International practical experience through internships with global players in the industry or a maximum of three years of professional experience
·  Initial management experience through activities such involvement as social or volunteer projects
·  Empathetic and persuasive communicator in both English and German
·  Team as well as entrepreneurial spirit
