Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the Imaging unit, we develop unique algorithms which, in combination with light projectors and CMOS-based camera systems, enable the simultaneous acquisition of depth information and material properties in imaging form. The fusion of image data, depth information and material parameters with a camera system enables the next generation of machine vision.

·  As a highly motivated technician, you will help our team take robotics applications and biometric capture in mobile applications to the next level.
·  You are responsible for creating data sets using the trinamiX camera system.
·  This includes the conception of the data sets together with our technical experts, the independent execution of the measurements including the annotation of the data, the organisation of the data sets and the quality control.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Successfully completed training or bachelor's degree in computer science or similar qualifications.
·  Enjoyment in combining practical work with camera systems and image data processing.
·  Solid knowledge of Python and familiarity with the basics of image processing and machine learning.
