  Reliability Engineer (2000476) – Brighton, CO

  Where the Chemistry Happens  

  The Maintenance Reliability Engineer will have primary responsibility for implementing and maintaining the daily manufacturing application of our computerized maintenance management system and coordinate and improve packaging uptime at our manufacturing site in Brighton, Colorado.   This position is also responsible for effectively chartering and executing projects, warehousing and other business factors and variables.  In this position, the Maintenance Reliability Engineer will:

 
·  Provide technical repair expertise and troubleshooting guidance for plant equipment including automated electrical systems, pumps, exchangers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping, etc.  Implement root cause analysis for equipment downtime using a sound problem-solving strategy (collect information and analyze the problem using appropriate data and critical thinking).
·  Present and communicate data, recommend solutions and drive positive change.
·  Understand plant business processes as they pertain to operations, maintenance, engineering, and procurement.
·  Develop and maintain working relationships with all functional areas of the site.
·  Ensure that quality of data and records are maintained.
·  Work closely with engineering to develop configuration changes and implement changes as per business needs.
·  Resolve problems, address functional issues, and provide guidance for end-users and maintenance department team members.
·  Provide direction with respect to the maintenance of operational systems.
·  Provide and generate maintenance department related reports to management as required.
·  Assist and support maintenance department and lead collaborative involvement with other departments on all special projects, planning, and process changes in order to sustain plant equipment reliability and meet the plant objectives, while always promoting the most effective utilization of maintenance personnel and equipment as per business need.
·  Implement engineered solutions and improvements for chronic or repetitive needs. 
·  Responsible for preventative maintenance (PM) and RMP MI process
·  Improve overall plant reliability through PM effectiveness tracking, corrective work orders as a result of PM tracking, lubrication program development, and PM process improvements.

Qualifications
·  A Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
·  Previous experience managing other supervisory level personnel is preferred required.
·  Previous experience with SAP or other CMMS systems is preferred.
·  Maintaining automated management systems at a high level of proficiency equal to that of a tenured professional
·  Reliability centered maintenance at a high level of proficiency equal to that of a tenured professional
·  Thorough knowledge of a variety of operating activities, such as materials processing, management, production processes, engineering design and programming is preferred.
·  This candidate must possess the ability to collaborate with all business functions and proactively drive positive solutions for future growth.
