Quality Assurance Analyst

Where the Chemistry Happens…

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this position reviews and analyzes site quality data and makes recommendations to continuously improve site product quality and quality assurance / lab processes and procedures.

Formula for Success: You Will…

·  Lead quality non-conformance investigations and ensuring creation and completion of sound corrective actions and preventative measures.
·  Conduct Ongoing review, analysis and reporting of site quality data. This includes trending and tracking including statistical process control (SPC). Reporting data to Quality Assurance Manager, site manufacturing team and regional operations.
·  Research, develop and implement new microbiological testing methodologies. This may involve collaboration with Regional and Global and/or third-party expertise.
·  Support on-floor manufacturing including troubleshooting and investigating quality issues and special sampling and testing activities. May involve some evening and weekend coverage.
·  Perform validation and consistency checks of existing microbiological testing methodologies.
·  Lead site quality initiatives (e.g. site meetings and training activities) and active participation in site interdependent quality committee.
·  Assist with quarantined product and disposal process.
·  Liase with Sales and Marketing Teams and product end users as required to investigate product issues for enhancement of customer experience.
·  Conduct Non routine testing of products manufactured at the site


Qualifications

Qualifications

·  Degree in relevant science (Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry)
·  Diploma in relevant field and 10-plus years relevant experience will be considered
·  Minimum of five years’ experience in a microbiological lab required
·  Previous experience with microbiological methods development strongly preferred
·  In depth knowledge of inoculant quality testing methodologies required
