In the Construction Chemicals Division, we look for innovative chemical solutions for new buildings and building maintenance, refurbishment and renovation in order to meet the challenges of the future. Our innovations help to increase the lifespan of buildings, reduce the resources required for their maintenance and protect the environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our unit Engineering und Maintenance offers a wide range of services. We support our internal customers in the area of maintenance as well as in technical projects from the project idea, project study to execution and commissioning. Plant modifications and optimisations as well as optimum operational support are also among our main tasks.

·  Together with our internal customers, you will develop technical solution proposals as well as concepts for the expansion and optimization of facilities and plants.
·  From planning to implementation and commissioning, you will manage investment and maintenance projects with interdisciplinary teams.
·  You will be responsible for project planning as well as monitoring the set time and economic project goals. In addition, you will also support your colleagues in cross-departmental projects.
·  You will plan, procure and commission plants and the associated construction and energy supply measures, taking into account the regulations on occupational safety, health and environmental protection.
·  In addition, you will actively support the optimization of processes and concepts to increase and ensure service performance and ensure the internal exchange as well as transfer of knowledge.
·  Last but not least, you will prepare, coordinate and supervise project-related inspections by experts in the field.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Degree in engineering science in the field of mechanical engineering, process or production engineering or comparable
·  Several years of professional experience in the chemical industry or in plant construction
·  Experience in project management, with digitalization of production processes as well as in the management and coordination of contractors
·  Good knowledge of technical regulations, legal requirements and quality management requirements as well as routine handling of process engineering documents such as RI flow diagrams
·  Target group specific, self-confident and authentic communication
·  Independent and careful working method, creative thinking as well as distinct ability to work in a team
