Where the Chemistry Happens…
Production Coordinator – Tipp City, OH (1903110)

Coordinates and distributes the work activities and/or production efforts of the admixture production group. The Production Coordinator will conduct daily production and shipping scheduling, administer raw material procurement, be a primary vendor contact and perform clerical/administrative duties within designated areas of responsibility. In addition, the Production Coordinator will fill in as a Plant Operator when requested and/or the business necessitates. As a Plant Operator the incumbent will work with raw materials in the manufacture of products, while utilizing various manufacturing equipment. This individual also has shipping and receiving responsibilities.

Your responsibilities would also include:

·  Coordinates work flow and production efforts of designated group.

·  Responsible for raw material procurement.

·  Maintains production/shipping documentation.

·  Administrative responsibilities include but are not limited to cycle counting, inventory control, raw material receipt and finished product shipping, customer returns, process orders and accounts payable.

·  Will be a primary vendor contact for admixture production.

·  Responsible for scheduling of bulk truck loading.

·  Coordinates EH&S activities as designated by the Plant Manager.

·  Responsible for wash water recycle and equipment calibration programs.

·  Responsible for training and record keeping within area of responsibility.

·  As a Plant Operator the incumbent will work with raw materials in the manufacture of products, while utilizing various manufacturing equipment.

·  The position requires the ability to operate a forklift to load and/or unload raw materials and finished products.

·  Responsible for unloading raw materials, loading bulk trucks and packaged goods with finished products when appropriate.

·  Conducts program/SOP development.

·  Conducts basic and/or routine mechanical repairs and troubleshooting.

·  Acts as a backup for QC Technician and Plant Manager.

·  Performs other tasks and duties as assigned.

·  Follow all appropriate Environmental Protection, Safety, Health and Quality (ESHQ) policies.

·  Wears prescribed Personal Protective equipment and ensures that prescribed safeguards are properly used.

·  Notifies his/her supervisor before undertaking a work activity in which he/she is not adequately trained.

·  Immediately reports unsafe acts or conditions to his/her supervisor and takes immediate interim steps to protect himself/herself and others from serious risk.

·  Understands that Safety and Environmental responsibility is a major part of BASF’s Vision and Guiding Principles. Must report all unsafe conditions and accidents immediately to appropriate managers or directors. Responsible for the safety of themselves and others.

·  Must understand and follow all quality initiatives and processes for ISO 9000, RC 14000 and other ISO regulations, procedures and processes as they pertain to job responsibilities.

·  Additionally, this individual will also support the shipping and receiving function.

·  The individual must be able to lift to 50 pounds throughout the shift.

·  Will work at different trailer heights.

·  You will interface with PLC control screens, read and complete process orders, complete safety tests.

·  You will solve simple math problems, +, -, x, /, to accurately record chemical additions, lot numbers, record scale readings.

·  Hands on experience of the shipping/receiving function

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For In You…

Basic Qualifications:
·  High School Diploma or GED required.

·  3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
·  Associates Degree preferred.

·  Manufacturing software (SAP) experience preferred.
