Description
Demand & Distribution Planning
· Validate and challenge 24 months sales forecasting plan with country sales & marketing team in collaboration with financial business planner.
· Provide final validated sales plan to financial business planner for uploading into MAP / APO system.
· Prepare required material for demand review (DR) meeting.
· Facilitate monthly demand review process with sales and marketing team.
· Identify and review opportunities and potential risks to sales plan on monthly basis including likelihood and decision time.
· Drive improvement measures on Forecast Accuracy KPI in collaboration with sales & marketing team.
· Communicate any sudden demand changes to the relevant regional supply planning teams without delay.
· Act as local DP BAM (Check and update required APO steering tables).
· Collaborate with GSO (BASF Logistic team) on issues related to physical distribution / transportation of material.
· Support Business planning manager to monitor and report local non-conformances issues in line with the process established by region.
· Closely liaise with regional supply planning team to monitor delivery plan & ensure customer requests are met.
· Provide regular and up to date feedback to Customer service Operator (CSO) on delivery schedule.
· Maintain/request new product article master data to GMDT (MatForm).
Local Inventory Management
· Provide & execute specific action plan to reduce dysfunctional stock (aging, no & slow mover).
· Proactively identify suitable action in collaboration with sales & marketing team to reduce excess inventory (local & pre-local allocated based on forecast).
· Strictly follow the BASF inventory guideline process for inventory write-off and stock taking procedures.
· Proactively highlight critical issues that would require regional supply planning team support / guidance.
Commercial Support
· Sales tracking: Provide actual sales data to related sales team.
· Distributor stock report: Compile & Analyze distributor stock.
Sample Management
· Support Local, Regional, and Global sample request on timely manner.
· Arrange sample shipment.
