Maintenance Planner (2002025) – Huntsville, AL

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to join our team.  In this role, you will be responsible for planning mechanical / electrical jobs to support the repair and maintenance of production manufacturing equipment.  This role requires your extensive understanding of equipment, the ability to understand equipment drawings, and the ability to understand complex electrical diagrams and troubleshoot issues.  You will also contribute a thorough understanding of job craft and skills required to plan a job, the ability to work independently to develop critical job plans, the ability to work with production associates to develop a job scope and coordinate work schedules, and experience of procuring equipment parts and services to complete necessary repairs to operations equipment.  You will communicate and negotiate work schedules with both internal (maintenance supervisors) and production customers, follow up with internal and production customers with changes to schedules, develop repetitive job plans, develop Bills of Materials, and assist in the development of Preventive Maintenance Plans for production equipment.  Additionally, you will assist in managing a maintenance budget by utilizing your keen attention to detail and good accounting and engineering practices.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Demonstrating your proficiency in Microsoft applications, you will create Gantt charts and shutdown schedules, Excel spreadsheets for data analysis, Word documents for developing job scopes and Power Point for meeting presentations.
