  Inside Sales Representative (2000485) – Ames, IA

  Where the Chemistry Happens  

  This position is responsible for internal sales support, monitoring market trends and reporting results, and assisting the Sales Team on projects and tasks necessary to grow market share and improve profitability.  Coordinating color runs in the lab as determined by the outside sales force, and other duties and special assignments as prioritized through management.

 
·  Sales support for wood and rubber markets
·  Sales support for equipment parts orders
·  Competitive color evaluations
·  Preparation and planning for sales team meetings
·  Price matrix adjustments
·  Customer product admin - all container, weight, etc changes adjusted on customer lists
·  Freight and delayed shipment tracking

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Formula for Success 

·  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Communications or related field.
·  A minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing, product management, sales or technical services.
·  Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, CRM).
·  Must have a valid US Drivers License
·  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
