The European Site & Verbund Management is continuously developing BASF's large European sites, thereby ensuring their competitiveness: We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operating services and logistics with production at each site. This ensures the basic supply of the business units, which can subsequently perform successfully on the market. In addition, we advise the companies in all respects relating to environmental protection, occupational and plant safety and regulatory approval.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Our Real Estate Portfolio & Data Management unit is responsible for safeguarding in Ludwigshafen in terms of property and planning law in the long term.
·  In this position, you will work on various tasks in the field of geographic information systems (GIS).
·  You will plan as well as execute projects and ensure that they are implemented on time and budget.
·  In addition, you will further develop as well as refine the tools for GIS and will work with the GIS application modules.
·  You will check the quality of internal as well as external contractors and be the contact person.
·  Moreover, you will keep the agreements on quality, safety, health, environment and innovation in mind at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Degree in geoinformatics or a comparable technical study program with a focus on geographic information / computer science
·  Familiar with geographic information systems
·  Ideally have planned and executed GIS projects
·  Excellent knowledge and skills in working with databases, ideally with ORACLE
·  Familiar with the standard CAD systems, e.g. the Bentley Systems products
·  Fluent in German, good skills in English
·  Beyond that, you identify the needs and requirements of your customers as well as partners and always act in the company's interests
