Where the Chemistry Happens

We are currently seeking a professional like you to join our Digital Farming team. In this role, you will use your strong technical background in and experience with agricultural equipment for crop production. You will join a team of Smart Farming experts with the ambition to further automate crop production by making agriculture equipment more intelligent. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for leading field equipment tests, interfacing with machine hardware and software, acting as the “boots on the ground’ as we evaluate new product and feature development, and supporting the analysis of large agriculture equipment data sets.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Formula for Success

·  Leveraging your education in agricultural, mechanical, or electrical engineering or other industry relevant technical education, you will accelerate innovative smart farming initiatives with internal and external partners.
·  Using your practical experience working with agricultural equipment on small- and large-scale field trials, you will conduct smart farming experiments and run field trials to support the development and launch of smart farming technologies.
·  Your familiarity with various OEMs hardware and software stacks in the agricultural equipment and implement space will serve you well as you support product and technical development activities across a network of external partners.
·  Your familiarity with extracting, interpreting, analyzing and reviewing machine data will be a key asset as you act to independently troubleshoot and recommend solutions to technical challenges.
