The European Site & Verbund Management is continuously developing BASF's large European sites, thereby ensuring their competitiveness: We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operating services and logistics with production at each site. This ensures the basic supply of the business units, which can subsequently perform successfully on the market. In addition, we advise the companies in all respects relating to environmental protection, occupational and plant safety and regulatory approval.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our unit Central Project Execution is responsible for the planning and execution of larger projects with a focus on plants as well as for conceptualization and advising services at the Ludwigshafen site as part of Site Engineering.

·  In the course of planning and execution of larger investment projects, you will be part of a team of engineers and technicians where you are responsible for implementing process control technology tasks.
·  Your activities will extend across the entire term of the project, from the study phase through to commissioning. This includes conceptual subject-specific planning, execution planning, order management and project management.
·  In your role as an automation technology specialist, you will advise the plant management on all technical and conceptual issues. In particular, you have experience with planning as well as setting up process control engineering safety equipment and systems.
·  In addition, you will ensure that goods and services are procured in a manner suitable for auditing.
·  Apart from that, you will work to build your subject-specific skills and expertise, with your supervisors support and will actively contribute to improve our performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Degree in the field of automation and/or process control engineering or comparable qualifications
·  Several years of professional experience in process control engineering planning
·  Fast in understanding of new information and distinguished by your solution-oriented working style
·  Enjoy working as part of a team and interest in people from different disciplines as well as cultures in the process
·  Communicate clearly and authentically, which allows you to communicate complex matters to your target audience in an understandable way
