Engineer in Supply Technology for Technical Building Services (m/f/d)

The European Site & Verbund Management is continuously developing BASF's large European sites, thereby ensuring their competitiveness: We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operating services and logistics with production at each site. This ensures the basic supply of the business units, which can subsequently perform successfully on the market. In addition, we advise the companies in all respects relating to environmental protection, occupational and plant safety and regulatory approval.

RESPONSIBILITIES

At Civil Engineering Services, we offer planning services for heating, plumbing, air conditioning and ventilation systems and equipment, control technology, fire extinguishing systems, lab equipment as well as lab media supply purposes for new plants and equipment changes within the BASF Group.

·  In the role of specialized engineer, you will perform the subject-specific planning for technical building services equipment in office, workshop, production and lab buildings.
·  Within these duties, you will develop planning solutions cost-effectively and be responsible for cost estimates, schedules as well as requests for proposals.
·  You will act as a contact person for our internal customers and advise them on all matters in the area of technical building equipment.
·  You will also manage external engineering firms and be responsible for the execution plans for renovations as well as conversions, expansions and new building projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  You have an engineering degree in supply technology and have already gained years of professional experience in the area of technical building services.
·  You also have solid knowledge in the fields of legal rules and regulations, ideally in industrial and lab construction as well as fundamental knowledge and in planning, RFP procedures, monitoring and project management.
·  Moreover, you have experience in handling projects on your own responsibility from a planning perspective,and you are a skillful negotiator as well as contribute within the team.
·  In addition, you share knowledge and experience with others so that they can grow as well as expand their skills and you regularly think about your own development as well as assume responsibility for your own professional career.
·  Your working style is characterized by actions geared toward achieving solutions, through which you contribute to the successful management of the company.
